July 2011 Internship O’Briain Beary are offering an internship under the JobBridge scheme to an architectural or architectural technologist graduate. The internship is for a research position exploring the capacity of ArchiCad BIM software to generate schedules, quantities and other building information from BIM models. The research will be undertaken on complete and on live projects. The research will also involve the application of the Ecodesigner software to projects.
The intern will not be involved in producing normal fee-earning project work. Prior experience of the ArchiCad package is not a requirement. On completion the intern should be in a position to demonstrate detailed knowledge of the application of the main aspects of BIM technology on mid-scale projects.
